The Trainers

Five different full time and part time trainers at Willow Tree Equestrian Center offer lessons for beginners to advanced riders.  Horse training ranges from starting young horses to refining the more experienced horse.  Sound horsemanship, safety, respect for the horse, and practical skills are emphasized in all riding lessons and training programs.  Dressage, Hunter/Jumpers, Driving, Western Pleasure and Trail Riding are only a sample of the disciplines offered

Marie2

Marie Milliman  has been with Willow Tree Equestrian Center since its beginning.  She specializes in starting young horses under saddle.  Her gentle, non-forceful methods give a  horse a solid, confident foundation for any discipline.  The horses Marie has started have gone on to successful careers in dressage, jumping, English and Western rail classes, driving, racing, and pleasure riding.   Marie also offers riding instruction with an emphasis on beginners and dressage

Karin

Karin Bielefeld who has been instructing for over twenty years, brought her experience to Willow Tree Equestrian Center in 1998.  Although Dressage and Hunter/Jumpers are her primary interest, she enjoys teaching in all aspects of equine discipline, and holds no preference to breed.  Her training programs are designed to physically develop the horse to the best of its potential, and  to educate the owner on the individual needs of their horse for competition or everyday health and well being.  Saddle fitting and  body balancing are also an important part of her programs.  Whatever your goals, she will help you accomplish them

Wendy2

Wendy Fisher joined the team at Willow Tree Equestrian Center in July of 2001, bringing along her life-long experiences with horses.  She specializes in the training and instruction of Western riding, speed events, and pleasure driving.   Wendy has worked with many breeds of horses and has been competing since childhood.  Throughout the year, along with training and lessons, she offers camps and youth education classes,  emphasizing horse management and care issues in her teaching program.   Wendy truly enjoys introducing the wonderful world of horses to children and adults alike.

Tanya2

Tanya Wretzky has a lifetime of riding experience in Western, English and Driving of Draft, Ponies and gaited horses of all types.  Over the last ten years she has been schooling in Classical Seat and Hunt Seat, showing at both local and recognized shows.  Her training objectives are to enable both horse and rider to better understand each other through sound training principals and clear techniques, ultimately resulting in a more enjoyable riding experience.  Her goals are to achieve Olympic levels of riding for herself or her students
