This offends Seamus, who announces that his eyebrows have completely grown back, then walks away to reveal that a patch of hair is missing on the back of his head. This running gag was entirely invented by Steve Kloves, the scriptwriter, from a single reference in SS when Seamus ignites a feather in Charms class. Indeed, in the books it's Neville who melts cauldrons and has all the accidents with magic, not Seamus (SS/f)

Grubbly-Plank, Professor
An elderly witch with closely cropped gray hair and a very prominent chin; she was the substitute teacher who covered for Hagrid when he was indisposed after Christmas break (January, 1995); Grubbly-Plank knew a lot about unicorns and seemed to Lavender Brown and others of Harry's year like a particularly good teacher compared to Hagrid, who devoted most their class time looking after Skrewts (GF24)
