The Wizarding World
Wizard Places
Of course witches and wizards are everywhere. The Wizarding World coexists with the Muggle world quite peacefully as a general rule. But there are places that are specifically Wizard places. These are places where Muggles seldom go, and if they do, it's only because they were allowed in (e.g. Hermione's parents in Gringotts). These are places protected from Muggle intrusion by Charms, hidden behind secret entrances, or so well concealed that the Muggles just don't see them. Here the members of the Wizarding world can relax and mingle without disguises or the use of Memory Charms. In Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley you might see Hags or other less-Muggle-ish magical beings, in for a bit of shopping or a bite to eat. At Hogwarts, you'll find the most talented and promising young witches and wizards in Britain preparing for their roles as adults in the Wizarding society. At the Quidditch World Cup Stadium...well, there you'll find pretty much everyone!

In the Wizard's Atlas you'll find several sections--Wizarding Britain, the Wizarding World, atlases of Quidditch and Magical Creatures--along with gazeteers which list places and their significance to the Harry Potter universe.
