Azkaban
The Wizard's prison, Azkaban is located on an island far to the north of the North Sea.

Barnton
Barnton is located southeast of Liverpool in Cheshire. Barnton is home to an amateur Quidditch team. In the 1400s, Upper Barnton was also the home of a famous nasty giant named Hengist who was killed by Gifford Ollerton (fw26).

Drear, Isle of
The tiny island of Drear is located off the northernmost point of Scotland. It's sole inhabitants are the fierce Quintapeds. The map, of course, shows only the approximate location of Drear, since it is unplottable.

Greater and Little Hangleton
Located two-hundred miles from Little Whinging (which can only be to the north in Northumbria or the Lake District to be that far from Surrey). Little Hangleton is the location of the Riddle House, where Tom Riddle killed his father, Tom Riddle Sr., and his grandparents in the summer of 1944.

There is an actual place called Hangleton, in a place called Hove, near Brighton on the East Sussex coast. [web link]. It's located far too near to Privet Drive to be the "real" Hangleton, however. (thanks to Greg McAusland on the Lexicon Forum for this information)

Hogsmeade
The only totally wizarding village in Britain, Hogsmeade is located near Hogwarts School.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Hogwarts is located some eight or nine hours north of London in Scotland.

Ilfracombe
This resort town on the northern coast of Devon was the scene of an infamous attack on a beach filled with Muggles by a rogue Welch Green Dragon. The Muggles were "rescued" by Tilly Toke (VG)

Little Whinging, Surrey
A quiet, perfectly normal suburb of London, where you'll find the quiet, perfectly normal residence at Number 4, Privet Drive. Also the location of a zoo that the Dursley family went to on Dudley's eleventh birthday.

London
London is the location of:

Ottery St. Catchpole
A small town along the River Otter in Devon, near Exeter. Ottery St. Catchpole is home to several wizarding families: the Weasleys (whose home is called The Burrow), the Lovegoods, the Diggorys, and the Fawcetts. Outside of the town is Stoatshead Hill.
