"Ottis," Rottweiler and top search and rescue
dog for the
Lancaster County Prison's Canine Unit in Pennsylvania
from 1983-1990. The Canine Unit Police
officers commissioned
me to do this portrait. Ottis is
to be remembered for his puppy-like
personality when not on duty, and his intelligence
and courage
when searching for escaped prisoners or illegal
drugs.
