If you look deeply into Ali's eyes, you will see the world as a child sees it. Although vulnerable and small, children are strong and grow with love and warm touch, even if from a make-believe animal. Children in China are abandoned on the streets and fill the orphanages, especially little girls and those with disabilities. Ali is so happy to be in America with two loving parents who cherish her every single living moment, and who know first hand the tragedy of losing a precious child of their own. This painting was my gift to the Alvord Family to forever hold in their hearts the power of love and the promise of renewed happiness with their gift of Ali. -Suzanne |
