Maillers tend to collect a lot of tools, especially pliers...I guess you could say that I'm no exception.

mandrel
Mandrel: for winding links greater than 5/16" ID.  Links 5/16" ID and smaller are wound on nails, bolts, etc.  The bar is bent into a crank, but this runs off the left side of the picture and is not visible.
aviation snips
Aviation Snips: for cutting 14 and 16 ga wire.  Sadly they have gotten a chip in the blade and are now retired.
cable cutters
Cable Cutters: for cutting 20 ga wire into shear edges
diagonal cutters

Two sample coils:  Top is 14 ga 3/8" ID Galvanized Steel, bottom is 20 ga 5/32" ID Gold artistic wire.  Also the links from each.
