Please join us in the Friendship Area following the morning worship service for a time of fellowship and refreshments to celebrate this special day. When you get a chance, introduce yourself to these new members and personally welcome them to MRC.

Items for the combined December/January Newsletter are due today.

Help Wanted!  We are still in need of someone to set up, take down and decorate the Christmas tree in the Narthex. If you can help, please see Kim Tuinstra or Jill Wolthuis today.

Parents:  Big d.o.G.s will not meet this Wednesday, but Pebbles and Stones WILL meet as scheduled. Please make a note of this.

On Thanksgiving morning, you are invited to begin the day with a time of praise and worship. Our service begins at 9:30 a.m. As we come together in gratitude before God, we will have the opportunity to share those blessings God has provided for us over this past year. What a wonderful way for us, as part of the family of God, to celebrate the goodness and greatness of our God. During the service an “open mic” will be available for those who wish to share. However, if you prefer to write out your words of “gratitude to God” and give them to Pastor Jim prior to the service, they will be read for you. If you have family or friends joining you for the day, invite them to come along, as together, we count our many blessings!!!  Nursery will be provided. The offering will benefit Mel Trotter Ministries and Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.

The participants of Pebbles and Stones (children ages 3rd thru 5th grade) have enlisted themselves to be your Prayer Warriors. A prayer request sheet has been provided for you in today’s bulletin.  You may place your prayer request in the box on the table in the Narthex. Additional prayer request sheets will be available next to the box.

The Faith Mission Offering will be received next Sunday, November 29.  This fourth quarter offering will benefit Mission India.

See today’s insert for Poinsettia order forms. Orders Due: Next Sunday, November 29.

Results of the nomination process for 2010-2012 are as follows: Fred Morley and Robert VandenBerg as elders; Brian DeMann and Todd Helder as deacons. Please keep them in your prayers as they anticipate serving in their respective offices.  These men will be affirmed at the Congregational Meeting on Tuesday, December 1, 7:00 p.m.

Do you have an immediate relative serving in the military?  We would like to make a bulletin board with their photos, rank, etc. Please sign the sheet in the Narthex and you will be contacted.

Mark your calendar: The Annual Congregational Meeting will be Tuesday, December 1, 7:00 p.m.

LADIES - PRAISE AND COFFEE is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., at Plainwell Coffee Mill.  A great evening of fun is planned! Trinity ftL will be there to lead worship, and the very funny Alison Hodsgon will be there with a great message for us! The night will be inspiring and encouraging. Come out and bring a friend who needs some girlfriend time! We will be collecting unwrapped Christmas gift items for Sylvia's Place (a shelter for abused women). Personal pampering and hygiene items such as deodorant, make up, body wash, etc. are especially needed. Let's be a blessing to women in crisis this Christmas season. **You won’t be able to attend?  Please consider purchasing items for these needy women and giving them to Sandy Vander Roest or Carol Jager.  Thank you.
